I voted for the first time yesterday! Hooray! I was pretty nervous because i didn't know what to do. when i first went into the polling place someone asked me if id voted ther before and hasd me fill out a voter registration form even though i was already registered, and then i got my ballot and went to the little divided table things. its wierd that they give you the places to stand and fill your ballot but they're made out of cardboard, so it feels like its gonna collapse if you press too hard with the pen. i got a sticker though, and its a pretty cool sticker. i put it on my CD book because i wanted to put it somewhere it wouldn't fall off, since it was my first time voting. my mom bought some petunias while i was voting so now we have pretty flowers!

i figured out a way i can play in the band at graduation even though i'm graduating. ill play triangle! its small and handheld so i can have it with me anywhere, and triangle parts are simple enough that i wont have to have my sheet music. when i had this idea i was very glad, because i wanted to letter in band but my band director requires you to play at graduation at least once to get a letter, and i was nevver able to make it to previous graduations because i had prior commitments. for a while i tried to talk to her about a way i could play mallets, but she thought it wouldnt really work because when theyre playing, the graduates (of which I am one of) are suppossed to be walking, and it wouldnt be practical to have me playing mallets and walking at the same time.
